July Public Meeting Great Success

The July public meeting, held at the Strand Theatre was a great success. Over 50 people, interested property owners, residents and employees of the Historic Downtown Strand District, gathered to hear a presentation made by The Goodman Corporation, who is the project manager and suburban design team that is overseeing the project. There was a lively question and answer period immediately following the presentation.

Additional information was available in the main lobby of the Stand Theatre where guests were able to view large size photos and maps of the project area, and further review a "hands-on" set of architectural drawings by SLA, the consultant architect firm who prepared the design specifications for the improvement program.
